For New York City property owners
City summons on your building? We close it.
We reopen missed hearings, defend you by phone and stay on it until the City shows the violation corrected. $249 a summons, plus 20% of whatever we save you.

An example of how a case moves. Dates and outcomes vary, and no result is guaranteed.
Four steps. You sign once.
Step 1: Sign in three minutes
Open your case from the letter or by summons number, confirm your details and sign the authorization. No call needed.
Step 2: We reopen it
For a missed hearing, we file OATH’s new-hearing request within two business days. For a hearing still ahead, we start on the defense.
Step 3: We defend you
We gather the evidence and appear for you by phone. You don’t have to take a morning off.
Step 4: We close it out
Once the condition is fixed, we file the certificate of correction and track it until the City shows it corrected.
Every price, up front
You can always reopen a missed hearing yourself, for free, with OATH’s online form. If you’d rather hand it off, this is everything we charge. The penalty itself is paid to the City, never to us.

For title agents and closing attorneys
An ECB judgment holding up a closing?
Send us the summons numbers or the page of the title report. Within one business day we’ll tell you what it takes to clear each one, what it costs and how long it should take.
Is this legitimate?
A fair question about a letter you didn’t ask for. Here are straight answers.
How did you find my summons?
Summonses, hearing dates and decisions are public records kept by the City. You can look up any case yourself on OATH’s website.
Are you the City, or working for it?
No. Cleared is a private company, and the City doesn’t endorse us. Any penalty is paid to the City, never to us.
Are you lawyers?
No. Our representatives are registered with OATH, the City’s hearings tribunal, to appear for property owners. We’re not a law firm and don’t give legal advice.
Do I need you?
No. You can reopen a missed hearing yourself, attend by phone and file the correction paperwork. We’re for owners who would rather hand it off.
What if the penalty isn’t reduced?
You pay the $249 flat fee and nothing more. If OATH doesn’t grant the new hearing, we refund the $249.
Can I talk to a person?
Yes, in the chat. Our assistant answers right away, day or night, and a person from the Cleared team joins the same conversation whenever you need one. We don’t run a phone line, so your whole case history stays in one place.
How do I stop your letters?
Go to cleared.nyc/stop or say so in the chat, and we’ll take your name off our list.
